Gawain either sleeps like a rock or never really sleeps, there is no in between. It depends on risk level. Normally there is fucking nothing that can wake him up (although he rises with the sun every single morning, no alarm). He can sleep in basically anything and routinely falls asleep in full armor. Super clingy while sleeping. do not approach especially if he’s fallen asleep in his armor

gawain tries not to show when he’s sad but like. the man has the puppiest puppy face of all time it’s impossible not to tell. like have you seen his sad CCC sprite? its a good thing he got paired with leo who gives 0 fucks

gawain is usually pretty content, especially being able to serve a dignified master, but when he’s actually happy???? h o l y s h i t. he really just does not know his own strength and he barrels into rooms, accidentally knocks things over - if he’s particularly close you you expect to be picked up and swung around

gawain honest to god does not know how goddamn fucking terrifying he is when he gets actually legitimately angry. he doesn’t even legitimately yell or anything but the volume and urgency of his voice compared to his usual demeanor is huge and his eyes narrow and he goes from talking pretty quietly to talking rly loudly and he doesn’t ever get physical like grabbing arms or anything but he sometimes he slams his hands against desks or w/e in frustration and its just… rly scary

gawain is pretty rough, but not intentionally? like he frequently bottoms out and leaves bruises on thighs/hips but it’s because he gets reaaaaaaaally excited and is eager to please except. gawain as a character is pretty selfish, but in an oblivious way, so you gotta just kinda tell him to calm down or be more gentle bc he wont get the message if you aren’t explicit with him

oh god. it’s a mess. anything not having to do with being explicitly knightly gawain just. mmmm. boy. luckily he doesn’t have too much stuff so it can’t be hoarder status, but whoever he’s with (master or the rest of the knights of the round) constantly need to tell him to pick up after himself. his armor and sword + polishing equipment always get put away in a nice and orderly fashion though

ok so when gawain likes someone he instantly goes into “mr. perfect knight mode” like the chivalry levels are just piercing the fucking heavens holy shit. i mean he still makes his obliviously callous remarks but it’s not nearly as bad as usual and you kinda gotta get used to Arthurian compliments. this man will run 50 meters just to get to a door before you to open it. he courts the object of his affection quite seriously, in true “courtly love” fashion, giving flowers, gazing wantonly from afar, probably writing in a stupid lil notebook about all the strange feelings being aroused within him (please check the wikipedia page for courtly love and scroll to the bottom for the stages. please laugh as hard as i did imaging gawain doing all of that. please.)
but then he doesn’t know how to transition from that weirdly formal way of courting to something more intimate - he goes directly from opening doors and giving bouquets and telling you how your beauty shames -insert whatever weird thing here- right into marriage proposal

oh my god im not doing his family with dame ragnell bc in the fateverse that is just a trainwreck with so much bitterness on gawain’s part likely bc that part of the legend isnt true at all bc arturia was. u know. a woman. and gawain was probably forced to marry some older lady he didnt like because of knightly ~duty~
but married to a gal he actually likes??? oh my god. he’d be the most awkward dad ever lets be real. like the kind of dad who goes out to play catch with his child only to come racing in literally not even a minute later, panicking, because he hit his child in the face with the ball. he makes various things with like tree houses and shit for his kid. they aren’t ever aesthetically pleasing but he tries and he cares a lot for his kids so. cuteeeeee.

well he’s deAD S O. jk. if he could age, if he got a physical form, I imagine upon aging he’d mellow out, actually you know, mature (he’s p young after all), and (hopefully) come to terms with his past (with the help of friends julius, leo, li shuwen, and hakuno + whoever her servant is (please be archer so they can both bitch about the past)) you can only notice him age when he starts getting crinkles around his eyes, notice his hair is more silver than blond. it’s such a subtle shift.
