Vi had been itching to see Alice, the pair caught up as often as they could, but recently between the both of them, work had taken over for a while. Though they owled, and it had really only been about a week, it had felt like a lifetime to Vi. And because of the events that had happened the night before, Vi was adamant that she and her best friend had to catch up.
So she had sent an owl that morning, confirming that Alice was going to be at the bar, a little out of character but she couldn’t help it. She was too bloody excited. Vi got to the bar a few minutes early, and got a table for the two of them, ordering a firewhiskey while she waited for her best friend to turn up.
