I skipped yesterday cause I didn't feel brilliant, and I'm still not feeling great today, but I really wanted to draw Thomas' crew again, I haven't drawn them in ages I love them.

I'm really proud of it!!

I used the wet acrilic brush for the shading and stuff to give it more of a painting look, dunno if it worked but I like what it did do anyway.

I have decided to no longer let people (mostly of the past) dictate what I can and can't post and that it's okay to enjoy creating things and to want to share them. So here's Bob and Tony being adorable.

Their hair is different because I typically draw them in the 1950s but for when this photo is set (1960s) the style was different so I imagine their hair changed a bit. Basically I wanted a excuse to give Bob long hair cause it suits him lmao.

I like to imagine a future crew finding out small bits and pieces about the past crews and stuff.

Anyway, I have a little silly fic under the fold as well as a colour version cause I'm proud of both aha.

"I found this tucked away in a old box in my apartment. Might be interesting to you, I know you like sodor history", the stationmaster said, handing him a box. She sat down on the table across from him and the fireman.

Thomas' driver opened it and gasped. Black and white pictures of old workmen, and letters to one and other. He picked up the first: two men in front of the E2, one kissing the cheek of the other, one of them in mid sentence. "this must be the old crew Thomas mentioned", the fireman mumbled, as the driver placed the photograph gently on the table.

He picked up another, this one was blurrier then the first: a blonde yardworker sat on the shoulders of a brunette stationmaster? Or perhaps one of the assistants? The two were laughing, with two other people laughing at them in the background. but it was clear the yardworker was probably dropped moments after the photo was taken.

The fireman took out a small letter, it had a drawing of what looked to be a drawing of Edward on the front. With messy cursive handwriting on the back

"Sid

You sappy sod!

Your gonna be the death of me one of these days.. you just keep being so wonderful and loving, hiding these cheesy as fuck love letters in my locker.

"these are... Incredible" the two crew men whispered, gently placing the letters back on their box. "I knew you'd find them interesting." The stationmaster laughed.

"you should talk to Edward or Henry about some of them. I know they're good at remembering that sorta stuff."

Okay I was a little hesitant about sharing this one but I'm very hecking proud of it so...

Ahjdnrj Thomas' crew have my heart.

This is just after they got together in my AU. I'd do that really cool thing where people share the story with their art but I ain't confident enough for that lmao /lh

I'm also really proud of this cause, I haven't been able to draw at all lately, college has really been kicking my butt. But, I finally did this one! And I'm really happy with it.

So I've been working on reference sheets for the past handful of weeks. And because it's pride month, I thought I'd share some of my lgbt background charecter OCS.

Basically I watched the CGI series and every now and then I saw someone who I liked, so I gave them a personality lmao.

I should note Emily's crew is currently in the works, I want to make them lesbians but I'm still figuring that out cause it's set in the 50s and i gotta research women in railways ect.

Also I'm a little afraid to share them cause they mean a lot to me so be nice lmao /Lh

Damn, you can tell who I drew first and who I draw last based on how animated they are lmao

From top to bottom. (There more fleshed out then this I swear)

Harry: he's shy and awkward (same). But also a sarcastic little shit. I love him. He's stronger then he looks. He's not the greatest with the trucks, in fact he's actually really bad with them. But it's okay because Annie and Clarabel have adopted him pretty much.

Roy: out going and chill, I want Roy to be my friend. He's fantastic under pressure which is great, because there's often chaos in Knapford. He'll sometimes bring in colouring sheets mixed in with paper work for the assistants if he knows they've been having a rough day.

Alan: I projected my anxiety onto this poor man. He's a really good cook, and he had never stepped foot on a train before landing the job as sir Topham Hatts assistant. Something that a lot of people find strange.

Steven: bubbly and friendly. Always helping out. Bought a wooden railway set for the breakroom once and it got so chaotic that it nearly injured a railway inspector got banned. Oops. (That inspector is fine btw.)

Tony: chaos. He knows not to do most of the things he does but does them anyway cause why not. He once set fire to his uniform, and is now no longer allowed matches unless supervised, though he now carries around playing cards.

Bob: also chaos but more controlled. More of a "this seems stupid. But it won't kill us so let's do it anyway" kind of guy. Also someone who I want to be my friend. He's makes some of the worst dad jokes ever.
