Dunk the Queen || Open starter
Here’s an open starter! Multiple people can respond to this, but I’ll cap it at three or four. All I ask is that you copy and paste and move it into your own text post, that way I’m not trying to keep track of several responses to one single thread! The title can also be changed as you see fit! Happy dunking!
The ‘End of Summer’ carnival was not at the top of Marluxia’s relatively short list of campus-wide events he actually liked, but it wasn’t necessarily at the bottom either. He hated to admit it, but there was a certain charm in all the noise and excitement, plus he loved it whenever admirers brought him plushes they’d reportedly won for him. Of course, he always threw them away at the end of the day because the materials were too low quality for his taste, but it was the thought that counted and Marluxia loved being thought of~
Apart from that, there was little else he enjoyed about being in the carnival. He wasn’t overly fond of the rides and always attributed it to the fact that he didn’t quite like the idea of his hair being messed up, but, truth be told, Marluxia got dizzy too easily and wasn’t the biggest fan of roller coasters.
He was perfectly content to sit at student and club-run booths and help raise money for the school. Normally, he wouldn’t be found sitting at the dunk tank, but he’d bribed a couple of engineering students to help him rig the target so that it wouldn’t budge even when students hit the target.
It was a win-win situation! The booth made money (because, let’s be honest. Who didn’t want to knock the pinkette into a pool of water) and he stayed out of the water, which brought more challengers up to the plate.
Of course, he was warned that it might not last all day or that a particularly strong throw might send Marluxia for a cold swim, but honestly, what were the odds of that happening?
“Aw~ Looks like you weren’t strong enough~ You’re welcome to try again♥” the pinkette teased as a frustrated freshman shoved his hands into his pockets and walked away from the booth.
“Next~” he called out, grinning at the newcomer.
