Force: Meet The Team!

At the center of the webcomic Force (debuting in September 2013), we have a superpowered team of vigilantes which goes by the name of C.O.R.E., the Coalition of Radical Enforcement.

Allow me to introduce them.

Optic

Carter Finch was twenty-four when he first gained the ability to control light. Within a year, he became the founding member of CORE, under the code name of Optic.

While his teammates have been satisfied to simply accept their powers as given, Carter's scientific mind has not allowed him the peace of accepting his powers without question. He spends his free time performing experiments on himself and testing his limits to understand just what he's capable of, and with any luck, why.

Scorch

Mark Carson is a minor celebrity due to his famous mother, Misty, from The Misty Show! Having gained a sizable trust fund on his 18th birthday, he went and bought himself a gigantic party mansion, which he inadvertently burnt down a large portion of before turning twenty-one.

It was in the middle of this house fire that Mark realized that he had the ability to control flame, and within the year he was approached by a man calling himself Optic to join some crime fighting team.

Resentful of his family's wealth and feeling that he could make a difference, Mark took on the moniker Scorch and offered what was left of his home and wealth to support the Coalition of Radical Enforcement.

Sigma

Spring Chen is the newest and youngest member of the team. When she was just eighteen, she sought out CORE as they were just starting up. With the ability to manipulate time, she found it pretty easy to catch up with them and  apply for the job.

While somewhat frightened of the sheer power she wields, Spring nonetheless believes that she was given her abilities for a reason. She calls herself Sigma, but she won't tell anyone why.

These are the current members of the team at the start of the series. Another member recently quit, which has caused a great deal of turmoil for the team and its mysterious leader, who keeps herself out of the public eye.
