Azanae had been eyeing the tavern door for some time now, spying the troll as she walked in. Her words passed into the sin'dorei's awareness and she cocked an eyebrow. She didn't often spot the use of sign language around, and something about it intrigued her.
Tilting her head back, she skulled the rest of her whiskey before sitting the glass down on the table like a threat. The corner of her lips quirked into the ghost of a smile as she tapped the table in front of her, rapping intentionally to get the troll's attention. Her voice came in the next breath, low and amused. As she spoke, her hands worked to form the same words fingertips just as efficient at being sharp as her tongue. Her first words were both spoken and signed.
"They're gone, are they? You're gonna have to be a bit more specific. I have a lot of theys." She poured straight from the bottle, into her glass, amber liquid sloshing gently up the side as she watched it, turning her gaze to the troll. Her brow arched again, gesturing to a seat across from her, sliding an empty glass in front of it and leaving the whiskey bottle uncorked. ["Debt collector? Bounty hunter? Ex lover?"] She eyed the troll up and down in a way that was silken, but also razor sharp. ["First round's on me. If your story isn't interesting, second round is on you."]
The next words she said aloud, more for herself than for the other woman. "Just don't vanish before you tell me what kinda ghost you chased off."
