They tell me that Pitts & I were actually tied for 2nd & they had to flip a coin, lol. Since I wasn't expecting to win anything for a piece that took me about 15 minutes to make, I am well pleased.
Decided to upload a work-in-progress pic for SHOWERS AND FLOWERS. Not sure why I went beyond this since I totally had no idea what I was doing... but it sure does look a lot brighter. (I like brighter.) I guess I was trying to get a more "realistic look" instead of trying to explain why the flowers are taking a milk bath.

En 1937 année charnière pour le New Deal, combien eut-il de grèves ? 4740 ... Combien eut-il de grève en 2007 ? 21 ! Cela nous enseigne que si nous voulons des réponses à cette "crise" économique pour un monde plus sains, plus juste, plus pacifique, il va falloir descendre dans la rue et les obliger à le faire.
