Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and everything you wish for in 2025!

I’m so grateful that this year brought me to this little corner of the internet. It’s a joy to be here and see everyone’s posts and I’ve been lucky to meet some wonderful people as a result.

My messages are always open if anyone needs a friendly ear or just fancies a chat about anything at all 💕

And who knows, maybe Miles and Alex are on a sofa somewhere reminiscing about the New Year’s Eve they spent together writing Aviation…

Thinking about when AM / TLSP have done cover versions, they use the original pronouns in the songs rather than adapt them. Specifically Love Machine, SOS, and You Know I’m No Good. There are probably more examples.

So many artists, particularly at that time, would routinely switch pronouns (eg so a man wouldn’t be singing about he or him because heaven forbid they sing the song as written!) but they didn’t.

Just a nice little observation.
