Things I have bought in the last week
2 fans because I have no A/C;
2 cans of Raid and 2 fly traps to get rid of an infestation of flies;
A rug to cover the dirtiest carpet in the world;
A box of 100 floor cleaning pads for a Swifer Wet Jet to try to make the floors less sticky;
A shower mat to try to forget the fact that the tub is permanently stained a weird brown color;
A new power cord for my TV after I accidentally gave my old one to Comcast;
A new A/V cord because Comcast tricks you into giving the old one back and letting you self-install a new cable box without any cords to connect to your TV;
4 curtain rods and new curtains because even though you own enough curtains to cover your windows they are short and don't really cover shit so now you have more curtains than any normal human should but you don't want to get rid of any of them because what if you move again and you need the short ones, though really you could hem the long ones, but do you want to really? Probably best to keep the short ones; and
3 storage boxes.
