you remember how Ruffnut kept staring at Eret’s muscles? And Tuffnut just rolled his eyes a lot at it? Yeah no he also liked it very much, and when he and Eret got together he did openly stare and Eret noticed and actually started lifting Tuffnut onto his shoulder randomly. Like the pit bull terrier meme

Hummm... I'll take "almost kiss" and "bath tub".

Because you didn’t specify a ship, I’m going to be self-indulgent and write for Tuffnut/Eret. However, if you wanted Hiccstrid, someone else requested the same topic so I will be doing both.

Yes, I know I’m the only person in this fandom that ships Tuff/Eret but I will go down with this ship 

Almost Kiss and Bath Tub: 

Takes place during the aftermath of Drago’s attack on Berk

A foreigner at best and a dragon trapper at worst, Eret has yet to find his place in the tribe. 

The only people who have truly accepted Eret are Hiccup, Valka, and the dragon riders. Everyone else is wary of him but trusts him because they trust Hiccup. 

Eret goes to the bathhouse on laurdag and finds the only tub with any room is the one the male dragon riders have occupied. 

except Hiccup because I H/C that he is insecure about his stump and probably bathes at home (or in a natural hot spring that he and Toothless share exclusively with Astrid). 

Fishlegs and Tuffnut welcome him, and Snotlout goes along with them even though he is super jealous of Eret’s height and muscles. 

The four talk about life on Berk, living with dragons, and other man stuff. 

Then, Snotlout starts wrestling and rough-housing trying to show off how much stronger he is than Eret. 

Eret, not really wanting to cause a scene, tries to just end his bath early

but Snotlout pushes/knocks into him as he is trying to get out and WHOOPS

He lands on top of Tuffnut

AND DOUBLE WHOOPS

Their lips are really close

Blushing, Eret leaves while Snotlout jeers at him

Tuffnut is SHOOK

Ruffnut is SHOOK and JEALOUS when she hears about it
