WOO! Finished my Gourmand design!

Notes:

Gourm, and all other slugcats, have three fingers and a thumb, totaling 4 fingers.

The body pattern wraps around to Gourm's back.

The tail pattern is actually scars from battles.

They used to be Grey/Chasing wind's messenger.

The thing under the eyes is actually a nose, not a mouth.

Their ability is using their fat as muscle at the cost of exhaustion.

7. Their colony decided to not migrate out of Outer Expanse after The Survivor Incident. (The canonical incident.)

WOO! ANOTHER ONE DOWN!

And, as for my ideas on them, I don't actually have many yet!

They are from an exotic race of slugcats that originally got it's vibrant colours from the mineral rich food that they ate, but these exotically coloured slugcats quickly disappeared after the ancients did. Or so the iterators thought.

They one day stumbled into Unparalleled Innocence's chamber, much to UI's surprise, as they and their overseers haven't seen an exotic slugcat since when the ancients were alive, and the overseers didn't spot them making their way through the superstructure.

After UI managed to convince Rivulet to leave the superstucture, they sent an overseer to see where they went, and found a hidden slugcat colony full of exotic slugcats in an underwater cave, where the water couldn't flood thanks to the shape of the cave.

The external gills were a natural evolution that they evolved to be able to hide from predators, and it also makes it possible to get into their colony without bubbleweed.
