❝  i  told  you  the  climb  would  be  tough,  ❞  neteyam  said  unsympathetically  to  his  youngest  sister's  plight.  they  still  had  a  long  way  to  go  before  they  reached  their  destination  and  neteyam  was  eager  to  see  how  far  tuk  could  go.  she  may  have  been  the  youngest  of  his  siblings,  but  she  had  the  strongest  heart  out  of  all  of  them,  always  eager  for  the  next  adventure  and  never  shying  away  from  hard  work.  neteyam  looked  up  from  below  her,  reaching  out  to  grab  her  ankle,  giving  her  leg  a  teasing  but  gentle  tug,  ❝  you  can't  stop  now,  we're  half-way  there!  ❞    //    @tukt1rey  ♡'d    for    a    starter .

  “ tuk! ” kiri called ahead of her, sing-song and sweet. she wasn't yet sure if she was going to have to coax her sister out or if she had already been forgiven. “ i'm sorry that you couldn't come with, but look, i've brought you something. ” from her bag, kiri produced a small vine bloom with curling purple petals, dappled with blue and fringed with lacy edges that, come nightfall, would glow in the most spectacular shade of pink. when left to dry it kept most of its color, making it a wonderful -though difficult to find & harvest- braiding or weaving cord for bracelets and accents. there were more reasons than its colors to gather it, but kiri suspected they would pale in comparison for tuk.
