Two female Swisher County employees on Wednesday sued former Sheriff Emmett Benavidez and County Judge Harold Keeter, alleging Benavidez repeatedly fondled himself in front of them and the judge retaliated against them for reporting the incidents.

The Swisher County sheriff has resigned several weeks after the Texas Commission on Jail Standards warned the county its jail in Tulia might be shuttered if it fails to meet state standards regarding observation of inmates.

Days 3 & 4

3: my day in great detail

woke up. went to my 3 hour long Color Theory class. twittled back to my dorm and studied. ..studied some more for my Sociology exam.  ate lunch outside (yesterday was warm & beautiful). studied even more once West went to class. did a little study session with a friend, & ate myself some Blimpies during then. kept studying once I got back to my dorm. West joined me after some shit went down, so I joined him while getting his grub on.  watched Tulia, Tx video for Sociology. read and went over some power points. finally chilled and relaxed for the day, and did a bunch of StumblingUpon. then I packed up, went to West's place, & crashed out after watching some Family Guy.  Though I didn't express these all too much... I had hurting-like-the-dickens cramps and thought about my best friend, Brittany Kay and her Meme, who recently got diagnosed with cancer, all day long.

4: meaning behind my Tumblr name In middle school my friend, Suzie, would yell my name "Torraaaay" from down the hall and it just stuck. As well, Renee is my middle name. My mom's side of the family will sometimes call me LittleRenee or Tori Renee since my mother and sister's middle names are Renee too.
