Can you tell us a little more about the paranormal club? I’ve looked through your blog and the tag but haven’t really found that much.
Hi anon ! The reason you haven't found much is simply because the paranormal club haven't really been asked about before, so thank you for asking !
Paranormal club is the name I gave to the universe where Tulipe, 21 questions, Apple bag and nightshift happen. It's also the name of a story that I intend to tell one day but not before a while (probably as it's stand alone game )
In this universe paranormal entities ( such as vampire, cryptids, liminal places ) are real but are treated like myths or creepy story by the general population. In the circle of people being humans, some attracts entities and other can straight up see them. Once a human clearly see and know that entities exist, they become linked to it and tends to attract creatures who wants to consume them. This story is quite inspired by the manga Mokke !
A name you'll see often is Françoise ! She's the lead investigator of an association called paranormal club. This strange woman host missions and events to help people with their issues related to non human activities. In the list of characters working for her you can find Clem, Erinna, Alicia, Achik, Sam or even Aissata. What work and how exactly one get hired by the mysterious woman is a mystery that I intend to explore in the previously mentioned futur project so I won't say much about it.
All the characters have a full life of events already written and planned, for exemple I have some Clem childhood lore that I had yet talked about but who was hinted in his game. This goes for ALL the characters, if they have a visual of any sort then they have a full life already written because they're original characters I worked on for me first before they became game characters.
Additionally the range of the story event is 1900 to 2023 in a world where Covid never existed. 21 question is the game who's story happen first in the main storyline ( in 2019 ) then every other game ( so far from when I make this post ) all happen in fall 2022.
Now on the funfact section, this whole story come from me making oc for the game moonlight lovers back when I was in high school. After a while I realized the game was not that good to me and was didn't in interesting ideas so I straight up just decided to rewrite it for myself because I grew fond of my oc. Years of updating, writing and researching and I now had a completely new story ( only similar element traces of it's origin is the manor and the original version of Vlad and Béliath )
Same as above, the character of Clem was first drafted as a mc for the game black tarot ( who sadly got canceled after the first chapters ) he then got reused because I felt like writing a game just for him.
This universe and so it's stories are heavily inspired by modern horror content such as The magnus archive, Creepypastas, The backrooms or reddit rule horror stories.
