So we all agree: Tulip absolutely pegged Jesse at some point in their relationship, right? Right.

Soooooooo confession time:

I don’t really ship Tulip and Jesse.

I have a lot of feelings and things I want for them. 

Like I want to watch Jesse try to be the good guy, and use the power in him to try to make things right in his eyes.

And I want to watch Tulip be fiery and vengeful and kill a man.

It’s not that either deserves better than the other, they just deserve different than each other right now. I think Jesse deserves someone who believes in good guys and will support and believe in him, and I think Tulip deserves someone who will let her be her and run free and only hold her back when there’s a ledge that she doesn’t see she’s running towards.

They obviously care about each other, there’s a deep history there, and maybe as the story progresses, Jesse will realize that there’s a lot of shades of grey and the best anyone can hope for to land on one of the lighter ones, and maybe Tulip will realize that when you run wild there are cliffs everywhere and there might not be anyone around to pull you back, or something like that, and they’ll come to meet in the middle somewhere, and then I could totally ship them. But right now, I don’t feel it.
