Tumble Bugs at Conneaut Lake Park. The Tumble Bug was a style of amusement ride where cars ran on a circular track that went up and down over humps while attached by a beam to a pivot in the center of the track. It's kind of just like a mini roller coaster. The Tumble Bug at Conneaut Lake Park was installed in 1925, and sadly in 2021 it stopped working. The parts for this ride have not been made in decades and the park was unable to fix it. It was the last operational classic-style Tumble Bug ride in the world when it closed. The cars have been staged around the park so that you can take pictures with the beloved "bugs" even though they will never operate again. A variant of the Tumble Bug called the Turtle (which is functionally identical but the cars look like turtles instead of bugs) continues to operate at Kennywood Park.
Tumble keeps crashing. And when it does it turns the background of my phone into a screen shot of my dash. What the hell? @staff
