When it comes to snacking, it's almost impossible to find better than street food in Bengal. On my way today to Taki for a road trip, I was super hungry and as soon as I saw Ghugni, I couldn't resist. Everyday they prepare a tumbler full which gives roughly 50 plates and sells them at just ₹6 a plate. Hot, mildly spiced and homemade. While my dad gorged on some piyazi, mom & me slurped up 2 plates each of ghugni.
