9/29/22 Last week Cyndy Wuolte and I went down to Noyo Harbor-FV Shirley for frozen tunas. $4/lb but $3.75 if buying >100 lbs. We bought 50 lbs apiece. Neighborhood pot luck paranda party at Munson’s, Wuolte’s, and our first yurt event. I made Laura Bush’s cowboy cookies, coffee, and tea. Dave lit a big fire in the redwoods. We had had 2.25” of rain the previous Sunday. Today we gathered at Wuolte’s to can tuna. They have a backhoe to bury carcasses. Dave/Steve loined the fish accompanied by hungry yellowjackets. Cyndy, Amy, and I packed pint jars then loaded 4 large pressure cookers. 100 minutes at 10-15 lb pressure. Robert came by. Wine required for watching the pressure. Bacon wrapped tuna for dinner. Good company and food on a beautiful day.
