Pasta alla crema di tonno e olive is a delicious Italian dish featuring a creamy sauce made with tuna and black olives. It's a quick and easy recipe perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients: 300g pasta penne or spaghetti. 150g canned tuna, drained. 100g pitted black olives, sliced. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Grated Parmesan cheese for serving.
Instructions: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add drained tuna and sliced olives to the skillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, breaking up the tuna with a fork. Pour in the heavy cream and reserved pasta water. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy tuna and olive sauce. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
