Speed reload... shooting suppressed with a Gemtech Tundra 9. Couple things about pistol reloads: there is no need to bring the pistol back one inch away from your face to conduct a reload. I've found that the fastest way to reload and get back on target is to split the difference: bring the gun back halfway, get that new mag in, and punch back out. Is the weapon still in my workspace? Absolutely. Can I still see what's going on down range? Oh yeah. I'm utilizing the slide lock on my Glock 19 for speed. I'm not slapping the mag in at 45 degrees. With diligent and consistent training, the slide lock can be utilized VERY effectively to put the gun back into battery FAST.
