Motherhood

My son will be 3 weeks tomorrow and the time has just flown by! It has been one of the hardest but most rewarding weeks of my life. I have been on a roller coaster of emotions. The first few days were so difficult because I was still recovering from labor. My husband was a true champ taking care of me and of the baby. Now hubz is back to work and it’s just me and my son and it is not easy but nothing in life that is worthwhile is easy. We are getting to know each other everyday and I learn something new every day. It reminds me of my first year of teaching. Everything was new and I cried a lot. But then I got the hang of it and it all started to make sense. I am excited for the journey motherhood will take me on.

As I see everyone’s getting ready for school posts everywhere, it’s weird not to be doing the same. I love back to school season. I love new supplies, fresh ideas, and the excitement of what the school year will hold. It’s going to be weird not starting the year with my students, but I love spending time with my son. I can’t believe he is almost 2 months. The summer is surely flying by.
