5. What was life like for Rook before joining the Veilguard?
Turab was a part of the Shadow Dragons, but before that he was a dwarf of the Ambassadoria. He grew up frustrated by the castes and slavery of his two homes, Orzammar and Minrathous alike. Feeling constrained by the strict roles of the Ambassadoria, Turab departed, serving in Tevinter's military before making his way to the Shadow Dragons, finding the idea of being a light in the shadows appealing and freeing.
9. What is Rook like on the battlefield?
Turab makes himself the target. He's a dwarf, so he's smaller. He'll weather hits and make himself a target before lashing out relentlessly.
26. Rook is in charge of the grocery list. What’s on it?
Pumpkin and black lichen for pumpkin bread and black lichen bread. Coffee and Ferelden milk. Rice and ingredients for tzatziki.
46. What does it take to earn Rook’s trust?
Rook needs to know your money is where your mouth is. He trusts Harding and Varric because they immediately are in the thick of it. He trusts Davrin because he clearly cares for his companions. He also, however, needs to know you can leave it on the field. He needs to know you can handle power without it handling you.
