Hen in the Wolfhouse headcannon: Kennet cared for Jemma, they were partners and based in his lines in 2x03 and 2x05 he didnt trust Hydra and knew how awful they were and he looks concerned when the guards take jemma and when Bobbi questions her. look, they are in the conference room and he gets scared of whitehall and explains to jemma who is he so she doesnt mess up, then when whitehall said Jemma's name he looks dissaponited, maybe he thought she was brainwashed cuz the only reason whitehall..

(pt 2) .. would care enough to remember someones name is if they are assets. Kennet probably assumed she was another brainwashed, cuz it would explain his line: “..he knows YOUR name” and his look. For him it would explain why the guards took her into the upper levels and why she didnt came for work the next day and immediately she was ascended. So what would you do if a possibly brainwashed talks about murder and destruction (hydra’s favorite thing) in front of you? you agree or simply dont disagree.

I definitely think Kenneth cared for Simmons on some level. I think they really were friends. That’s an interesting take on his concern about Whitehall knowing Simmons’ name actually, because there’s a lot of them down in the lower labs and oooh Bakshi never refers to her by name when talking to Whitehall about her, that we’ve seen. *strokes imaginary beard*

I always read his concern/disappointment and his enthusiasm about the destruction as an ambition thing, but that doesn’t really make sense does it, because “the higher up you go, the scarier it gets”: he doesn’t want to ascend in Hydra.

My Turgeon feels, man. I kinda need him to be brought up again. It would hurt Simmons a lot but from a writer’s perspective that only makes it better.
