I feel you. This is what I’ve gathered so far. Rule #1: never buy retail or full price. Rule #2: it’s hard to eat healthy on a budget so coupons. Rule #3: necessity is the mother of invention. I use a budgeting application for help.

An application? Hmm that actually sounds very practical! Do tell me more.  Lately I was trying to stop myself buying food that was expensive - or if I absolutely have to (like if I’m ABSOLUTELY craving some exported food) I try and find the cheapest available. But because I’m very sensitive about what is going into my mouth , both health wise and educated taste-buds wise (yes I know...pretentious) There is a limit to how much I can cut down on groceries-- so I supplement it by cutting down on transportation. But it was extremely hard for the then-19-year old me to suddenly having to learn the ropes of public transport. People would judge me VERY HARD about being clueless and asking obvious (for them) questions about the busses and the tube. Now I’m pretty good at that thanks to having a lot of friends from out of the city who need me to get around, and having exchange students to take to hospitals (because I’m a health mentor at the college) The coupon thing -- I never got into that. To be honest I don’t know the first thing about how to even get them...? But i think my college provides this special card to get discounts on cafeteria food and the bookstore and whatnot so maybe I’ll look into that. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR REPLY!!

Do you ever wonder if Anthy and Utena were ever really meant to reunite in the series? If part of the entire fable aspect of SKU was to teach the lesson of moving past "eternal" memories, would Anthy only walk into a new prison of her own design by seeking out Utena at the end? I mention this quite painfully because I love their relationship, but after listening to the theme song in full and considering it from Anthy's perspective, I hurt.

I honestly believe that Anthy realizes her own freedom by walking out in the end of the series. I believe that if she does seek out Utena, it’s because she loves her, not because she needs to subscribe to any fairytale “eternal love” that she thought she was supposed to live by. I believe Anthy looks for and finds Utena because Utena represents to her love, love itself, love that doesn’t care whether you have sex or not, whether you fulfill the roles your partner has assigned you or not, whether you are or are not the romantic ideal we’re all told to strive for, but love that holds highest, above all else, the heartfelt wish for its object to be happy regardless of anything else in life. Love that says, “No matter what you do or where you go, I will help you go there and do that and be that because you want it.”

I believe with all my heart that Utena and Anthy meet each other later, and I believe they do so because their love is beyond all of those petty wants that plague the things that we think of as love. I believe that Utena’s highest desire is for Anthy to be happy, and that because of that, Anthy and Utena are reunited. Their love does not demand that the other be or do or think a certain way. Their love does not demand anything of each other. Their love is pure.

So yes, I believe that they meet again. Their highest wish for each other is to shine together, forever. And no, I don’t believe that’s a continuation of a destructive cycle. They want the best for each other without imposing their own wishes on each other. They are happy just to know that the other is becoming a whole person. They want to shine, together, forever. So don’t hurt. Love makes it work. Even in real life, I promise, it works.

Man, finances just aren't going your way. I can't say I'm honestly surprised considering my girlfriends withstood similar situations. If your financial aid office doesn't offer anything with your arguments, and if not enough comes from your advisors, I'll send you as much as I can. It won't make up the 2k difference, but it'll make a dent. I know this is all fucked and you're freaked, but there are people here who want to support you.

Got my wisdom teeth out tuesday. Really swollen still and apparently part of my jaw looks bruised. It's supposed to be down soon

The wonderful aspect of your work is that your style is remarkably enjoyable to read. So please, agonizingly slow is good for me if it's good for you. As the reader I'm winning either way. You write in the way that singers sing where fans claim they can sing the phonebook favorably.

Thanks! I personally think AFA's style has changed a bit since the earlier chapters, but I'm glad people are liking it.
