turklight replied to your post: “My eyepatch is not stupid, it’s bad ass.”

"Comin' from a guy who wears goggles on his head for no reason."

A man in a SOLDIER outfit in the middle of Edge was probably something that would attract someone's attention. Zack got several crude looks, and even was denied being spoken to. It was nothing new - he recalled the people treating him the same way years prior when he had come to the Slums for the first time. It took Aerith to get the store clerks to relax. Sadly Aerith had not come with him that day. Such a pain.
Treading back unsuccessfully, Zack began making his way through the ruins of the Slums. Sure it still was not very good of him to do such a thing, there were less people, making Zack feel less of a target. All those nasty looks could really make his skin crawl. He was not even a part of SOLDIER any longer. But until he acquired a different uniform he supposed it did not matter what he told them.
Shaking his head, the man put his hands on his hips as he walked. "Man. Life's rough." He muttered, before a small speck of red caught his eye.
Stopping, the former SOLDIER tilted his head in an almost confused way. Sure he had seen Tseng lingering around the Slums the other night, but why was the redhead out alone? Where was the one with sunglasses? Weren't they usually together? He did not see the EMR in his hand, so thinking it safe, Zack let his curiosity win and began to approach the other.
"Hey - Red. What are you doing here?"

There was a curt nod from the barmaid as she instantly recognized the redhead entering her bar. "--Reno," she said politely, though caution was evident in her crimson hues.
