So what do you call porridge? I recently found out many people have different definitions of porridge, usually in the base ingredient being either oatmeal, corn, rice,or wheat. And then again in whether it is a savory dish (pickles) or a sweet one (raisins, brown sugar etc) how do you flavor it?

lmao okay so the average brit’s porridge is oats + milk/water, with sweet combinations of sugar, syrup and fruit. I always do mine with water as I think it tastes much nicer. So, 1 cup of oats to 2 cups of water, heat it up in a saucepan until it’s warm and gloopy (yummeh) then I like to add a small bit of maple syrup, stir that in, sometimes a teaspoon of cocoa to make it chocolatey mmm, then for toppings I thinly slice a banana, have a handful of blueberries, and a generous teaspoon of peanut butter. Top it off with a tiny drizzle more of maple syrup, a dusting of cinnamon and whabam, you have your tasty tasty porridge

Ah! I'm so thrilled you made that post about T6T, I am attempting to re edit the whole thing but I don't want to unfuc it in ways it "needs" to be bad. Im just trying to make it less manic and confusing. If you have any further suggestions or thoughts you can message me too

Yes, it certainly has more issues that I forgot to mention aside from the problems in direction: ie acting sometimes is a bit off, then a few mistakes from the crew, things contradictory to some stuff we’d seen in the previous series etc.

I don’t know if some things were meant to be bad because they wanted to tell us something or they were simply red herrings or plain errors. 

I tend towards the possibility that they were meant to please the avid subtext lovers of the fandom - those who take an object and can create a 4 page meta from it. Perhaps it was just them having fun or leave an idea there for fans to delve into analysis... then again, maybe they had so many scenes to shoot that they failed to notice some inconsistency issues... I don’t know. 

But whatever it is, I don’t think Mary is going to emerge alive... we still have some things to learn about her (probably in MP or flashbacks) but this won’t change what happened in TST and how it happened.

Oh, one more flaw: the connection between the cases in TST was far-fetched: so a boy dies in his car and then all of a sudden another car hits his stopped car after a week and then Sherlock’s on the case and all of a sudden Sherlock notices a Thatcher bust is missing from its table and he’s like OH THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT and then it’s proven that the bust was connected, of all people, to Mary and it eventually led to her death...

I mean, I know that the message of TST is that you can’t avoid your destiny and that what is to happen will find a way to happen, however crazy, but still... it was TOO much
