That’s gorgeous!

This afghan was Mom’s gift to the Liam drive. She finished it and we were going to put it up for auction the day Liam donated the balance to bring his drive to goal. So we opted to sit on it ans use it for this year’s drive. The pattern is called Grandma’s Pinwheels - highly appropriate afghan from a woman with six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren to a charity that benefits kids.

thank you all for all the messages, and to everyone who left replies. It’s been a rough night. The kids are devastated. Punkin was almost 16 years old - so for the Sassy One and The Boy, we’d had her their entire lives. The Brat is at work and doesn’t know yet. Not looking forward to having that conversation when she gets home. Even my ex-husband is upset.She was definitely part of our family, and her loss is huge to everyone.
