One year ago we launched Elbow Tree in St Augustine and started seeing clients around the city in borrowed offices and spaces while our offices were being renovated. What a gift to have such killer friends and landlords who have helped this dream become a reality! This month we will host 7 therapists seeing clients in this amazing 130 year old Florida cracker house. Grateful to all the friends and family who cheer this venture on and for our clients who trust us to enter into ground zero of whatever situation they are in. A few years ago I co-facilitated a retreat at @winshaperetreat and this beautiful piece of pottery was a gift from the retreat center. These days I keep pens in it on the table for clients, many of them couples in crisis, who may want to take a note or two as we are in session when ideas and insights surface. I learned this from my supervisor @stevemcilvaine who provided the same for me as a supervisee. • If you know a couple needing couples counseling, we’d be honored to serve them.
