TURNING POINT.
November 23rd, 2014.
Stealing every ounce of her concentration that she could muster in her depraved state.
A nagging feeling, in both the pit of her stomach and the core of her soul. Whenever she'd get near the trees- Hell, if she even looked at, or thought of them. The feeling returned; the ache of longing, desire to be back where she found her solace as a child.
With how she's been for the past several months and especially as of late. The small woman craved nothing more than to feel the comfort of the forest yet again. To be able to climb a tree and take a nap. To sleep.
Weighted feet are pulled towards the tree line, knowing every bit that she should not enter. Yet. Not wanting to stop herself. Could she stop herself?
No.
The raven trudged on. Walking aimlessly through the woods. Her intent was to find an easy tree to attempt to climb, but before she knew it, there was a mesmerizing pond with a mystical kind of feint glow.
How long had she been walking? As a matter of fact -Where was she?
Only realizing she was lost as she broke the threshold of the forest and wandered into the clearing. That pond was a wake up call. Loki was just about to turn back and try to find the school, when she caught sight of a quaint little blue cottage. She knew she had to get back, but. With a mixture of curiosity and that damn nagging feeling, there was no turning back just yet.
With every step, she lost her will to fight her cursed curiosity.
The metal was cold in her hand. Years of rust made the nob hard to turn, but she managed just fine and pushed the door open. The interior was rustic, covered in dust but still perfectly in tact. It seemed like it would be a lovely place to live, with the scenic pond that was adorned with dragon flies. She wondered how it would look at night.
Making her rounds through the cabin and making her way up the small set of stairs. She froze half way up. Hair standing on end. Heart racing, her knees began to shake. How long had she not noticed?
.She was being watched.
With a small gust of wind, the cottage creaked and Loki bolted for the door. Not taking a chance on waiting to see if there was actually someone or something in their with her. The panic movements were quicker than train of thought. Her foot slipped on the edge of the step and she fell back. The back of her head made firm contact with a step, the rest of her body crumpled down the stairs.
The adrenaline coursing through her exhausted frame wasn't enough to block out the pain. Yet, with all of her might, the small teacher struggled to get up; She had to get back, she couldn't just lay here, the students would worry.
Despite all of her efforts, her vision blurred before eventually fading out. Losing consciousness
