#turning twenty

seven more days of being 19,, learning that being on fire does not mean you will burn out— and instead it will just lead to a larger flame. i am glad for my teenage angst kindling. i’m glad for high school primping and sobbing and everything that made me feel like i had a true teenage experience.

i am happy in the end of it. i am happy for my 20’s. i am happy for all of it.

i've spent the last of my teen years reflecting on the time that has passed. the 20s will be filled with so much love, i'm sure of it!

I TURNED TWENTY AND I AM IGNORING THE EXISTENTIAL DREAD THAT INVOKES

just scared the hell out of myself realizing in exactly 4 weeks I’ll no longer be a teenager…..  I mean Sophie was about to marry Sky! Some of my old friends already have kids and I still cant legally drive and I’ve never been on a date… Is this an extremely early midlife crisis?  I feel so behind with my life.

I'm turning twenty tomorrow. I sent my dad a PowerPoint to come out to him as trans about five and a half hours ago. He hasn't responded but he's seen the text. I'm going into my twenties feeling like my emotional dread for the past months has been swept aside and once again unacknowledged. I feel like everything is meaningless now and that all the emotional pain I've been feeling really means nothing to anyone. Maybe this is all very dramatic but I don't know what to do now. I can't think.
