What a difference 5 years makes! In 2017 (bottom LT) I experienced the phenomenal @joethemorton onstage in his solo show #turnmeloose right before my #gooddaughterplay debut production... Yesterday I saw him onstage with my girl #brieeley doing her thing in #kinglear another truly unforgettable experience... But this was actually the 3rd time I saw him onstage. The first time was in the 90s (in my NYC days) @vineyardtheatre with my Mama - a solo play about the white woman who drove her kids into the water drowning them and blamed a Black man that didn't exist. Joe played "Him". So like most things theater and Kaypri...there is a connection to @dorothyknows 💛 because she unknowingly created a thespian by just being a patron. And I remain 4ever grateful. 🙏🏾 I also got to share this time with another talented friend (classically trained) @abrahamntonya who I met in his ATL days...
