Another one bites the dust
Taken in for experimentation, Dave Strider.
My my how you wanted to protect those so bad, too bad your powers do not work well. You almost had a chance at saving those poor fools. Seems you're just not the hero you wanted to be. Thank you for offering Us the chance at examining your anatomy. Do be careful in the future, and remember to stay lucid lest you want your loved ones to fall peril to something even worse.
~The Overseer

Through wobbly legs and confused spirit
She thought her narcolepsy was a thing of the past. This is probably why she groaned in confusion as she woke up in her block the very first time – it was weird. She didn't remember anything from before. Nor did she remember what happened, or how did she get in here, or even why is there an [M] freshly branded in front of her neck. Did they beat the game? Was that their ‘new world’? If it was, where were her friends? Aren't they supposed to be Gods in the universe they created? But where are the dog ears she grew, then?????? Maddening as her situation was, she was not one to sit down and ponder. Instead, she first settled with discovering the room she was in. It was pretty normal, a mundane room with a comfortable bed, a decent sized bathroom and an acceptable kitchen – and well, that was when she saw the cupboard. Why in the name of genesis frog was there a cupboard full of sex toys in the room she was settled in?!!! At this stage, confusion and curiosity guided her legs out. At first, she took a quick peek, only to discover the rows of room on sides. She aired mindlessly in the halls, until she found out the real reason she was kept here. The immoral, messed up, depraved reason behind the cupboard in her room – how could they end up like this?! Everything was going fairly well last time she remembered, how could thing could possibly turn out so wrong?!!! Needless to say, the idea took time to settle in – the fact that were all prisoners, that there was no way they could escape, that they were forced to do whatever they were commanded to do without even uttering a question. The idea was depressing, to be considered as nothing more than providers of buckets and samples for whatever reason the drones wanted them for. She never touched the cupboard in her room, that is, not after that first time. Though she knew she would have, eventually. She should, if she ever wanted to keep her head on her shoulders. Even so, if SBURB had successfully done anything to them, it was to habituate them on adapting to strange situations in a limited amount of time. She learned quickly - that she was supposed to take in a slave and provide samples, how to take care of them, what to do in order to punish them, that she had her ovaries removed (her ovaries, seriously?!!!), the lactation drug, and the culling (she swore to herself that she'll never retort to such thing, even while being low on credits). It all took a limited amount of time, and it wasn't like the complex was hiding the information from her.
As such, even if the whole ordeal was a shock to her, she didn't miss a beat- after everything was somewhat clear to her, now was the time where she should search for her friends! If she ended up here, the others should have as well!! Well, they would be around here somewhere! The first rational thought may have been to check the rooms adorning the wall on either side of hers, but she still set out for the slave’s wing first. She just needed to know if someone ended up there! Even if in the back of her head, she really hoped no one did. The possibility seemed surreal, of course she knew that it was absurd, the fact that everyone ended up lucky – well not that she could be considered lucky, but with the things she heard about the slaves and their fate… well let’s just say luckier than them! – But it was a wish she hold on onto. So here she was, tottering her way to the communal wings, head bent a little in order to see if she recognized any face. For now, she didn't, and it was both a relief and a disappointment (she really hoped to find someone she knew in this hellish place!). Well that was her first thought, until she her eyes caught the sight of platinum blond hair she thought was fairly familiar..
