This renovated 1928 Colonial style home in Sewickley, Pennsylvania  is the cheeriest house I’ve ever seen. It has 3bds. 1ba. and is listed for $299K.

Not only is it cheery, but it’s cutesy, too. 

Look at the hall- it’s all bright turquoise and sunflowers.

It’s also decorated in a maximalist style. But, you can never have enough turquoise.

What a profusion of flowers. There’s plenty of seating to choose from- the counter, the dining table, or a booth.

The kitchen is cute. Wish it had a DW, though.

Check out the main bd. If you like turquoise, this house is totally move-in ready.

This is the only bath in the house, but it’s a nice large size.

This bd. is being used as a family room.

And, this one’s an office/catch-all room.

Has a lovely sunny deck and nice backyard.

Inspired by the colours of the Dead Sea, some of my latest items to come out of the kiln

Kelli calls her light, bright, Florida home, Mango Manor. It’s got a tropical theme, but it’s also good inspiration for colorful pastel decor ideas.

Love this idea- assorted bottle brush trees on a bright yellow sideboard that Kelli painted.

In the dining room, she wanted to add mustard accents, so it’s in the carpet and on the sideboard. 

I’ve seen wood tone kitchen cabinets with red bows for Xmas, but they can be on any style of cabinet with the colors that match your kitchen. 

If you have open shelving, it can be just as festive.

From the kitchen, an ocean wave mural is an attractive addition to the family room wall. Notice the wave sticker on the dishwasher and turquoise sink.

The family room and kitchen share the same space.

The dinette for every day dining is surrounded by windows and has a bit of a BoHo look.

The master bedroom looks like a vacation every day.

When Di moved into her Period home, it needed lots of work. The photo above is what the entrance looked like and what it looks like now. The silver heron statue was the latest present to the house.

Her stunning living room is a mix of blues and aquas. It looks like it may have been a store converted to a home. 

The long low windows let in lots of lovely light. 

Love the kitchen. This proves that any type of home can be beautiful. 

Isn’t this a great feature? The kitchen has a fireplace.

This home in Manhattan Beach, California has a beachy vibe, but I really like the blues and turquoises, for any home. The kitchen island is a beautiful blue/gray, and I love the turquoise mixer and pastel candies on the window, too. 

Open shelving with color-coordinated glassware, but even the frosted glass matches.

Even the inside of the cabinet is stylin.’

Love everything about the dining room- those wicker chairs are gorgeous. Also love the chandelier and shell wreaths.

This old winegrower’s home and wine storehouse, was turned into a loft and the owners are totally blue lovers. Take a look.

It certainly is cheery. The shade of blue they went with has aqua in it, for a beachy vibe.

The kitchen and dining area are huge. It looks like the only wall that’s not white is this accented one in the kitchen. 

They paired the blue and white with silver and gray. The floors are gray wood look, which I think matches better than a natural wood, but it gives the house a cooler tone.

I don’t know why they always put an open bathroom in the masters of these lofts.

You can clearly see the bed from the bath. I wish they would’ve given a closer shot of the headboard. 

Of course, if you’re going to go blue inside, you have to continue outside, also.

Welcome to a slightly quirky, fun, home in a former dairy in the Netherlands. Enter thru the garage.

The car has pretty nice digs- beautiful plants and a glass wall. 

This is very nice, I like the grouping of plants in various black containers. Is that a painted soccer ball on the floor?

The large open area is divided into a living room & dining room. Off to the left, is the kitchen.

The imperfect look of the Moroccan Zellige tiles give the kitchen a beautiful shimmery look. The little girl is peeking out of an old freezer, original to the former dairy, and the cabinets are either former coolers or made to look that with hardware and stainless steel counters. Love the light fixtures.

A metal shelf provides storage and separation, with color-coordinated dishes on display.. 

Old walk-in freezers are storage closets now, the doors are painted bright turquoise to match the decor- notice the vintage hardware and the thermometer above. I think that the worn black & white tile is actually wallpaper. 

The building is large and has a roomy family space with games and a nook for reading. I don’t know who the weird little girl is, but I like her.

The color block cabinets, w/matching accessories, are a theme throughout the house.

On the 2nd floor, there are lovely beams and and children’s rooms. It’s an unusual, attractive & happy home.

Here’s a home that was redone in blues & turquoise. The owner let the children help choose the colors. Well, I think they did a pretty good job.

This house is a feast for blue lover’s eyes.

Love everything about the kitchen from the color of the cabinets to the turquoise subway tile, to the striped chairs. Beautiful. 

Love the turquoise beaded chandelier and how they covered the books with coordinating colored paper.

The formal dining room has touches of gold.

The stairs have a zebra runner with a blue border. 

Oddly, there’s no pic of the master bedroom, just the master bath that’s done in olive green & blue.
