Fanny’s family is the center of her world. She will do anything to make sure that they are happy, safe, comfortable and most importantly, together. As soon as Fanny sees that any one of her siblings are feeling the least bit melancholy, she will immediately figure out what’s wrong and talk to them and cheer them up. Although she is always trying to see the bright side of things, sometimes even she cannot bear the weight of their difficult situation. She misses her mother and father sorely feels their absence acutely. But no matter what, she will always try to be optimistic and resilient, something she hopes her younger siblings will learn from her.

Arabella’s main goal in life at the moment is to provide and care for her family while her parents are away. Contrary to how confident in her abilities she tries to seem, she worries that her best effort to raise them won’t be good enough. She just wants to give them the world and all the opportunities she never had, and sometimes she feels that if she isn’t constantly working towards that goal, she’ll never reach it. At the end of the day, she loves her siblings immensely and would do anything to protect them and allow them to become the best versions of themselves.

It’s time for our first Development Day task!

Development days are designed by the admins as fun tasks to help you guys get to know your characters better. We will periodically be releasing them as the rp proceeds. Some will be fairly simple while others may be more involved. They are completely optional and you may do them whenever you feel like doing them. It is completely up to you if you do all of them or none of them or just specific ones that catch your interest.

Seeing as this is the first Development Day, we’ll be starting off with a simple task. Today we ask you to look at your character’s family and decide how they feel about their family. This could be the character’s family by blood or by choice. Not every family is one that you are born into, but they all have a large impact on shaping your character and turning them into the person they are today.

Once you’ve decided how your character feels about their family, we ask you to create a moodboard to describe those feelings whether they be positive, negative, neutral or a complicated mix. Find nine gifs to describe these feelings. You can find gifs to create these moodboards in this tag or this tag. This blog also has moodboard gifs that are organized to help you find what you’re looking for.

Once you have made the moodboard, we ask that below it, you write a brief description explaining your character’s feelings. Moodboards are a wonderful way to convey the ideas, but we’d love to hear directly from you, in your own words how your character thinks. Once you do that, you’re done! Tag the post with “tutdevelopment” so everyone can see your moodboard and post it to share with all of us! You can find an example here.
