My attempt to figure out how to draw clothing folds without finding a million references.
tldr raised points on the form have catenary shaped wrinkle arcs between them where the fabric catches

Quick explanation of how I draw faces
I spent about 10 mins on the first 3 steps
and 90 mins on the rest
To decide on lighting I often use https://www.artstation.com/artwork/6a0Par (and the male one by the same artist). I decided to keep this one simple and use roughly the same lighting as the ref
After the success of the first one, I decided to create another version of the lighting tool. So this is the Female simplified head version.
I maybe go overboard with the color jitter but I like the effect
