Do you know how to enlargen a picture in Photoshop without losing a lot of image quality?
Here’s a good tutorial on it - though, I haven’t tried it out myself.
so sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldnt find it anywhere on your blog. I was wondering if you could tell me how to add a gradient/psd to a png? thanks for your help :)
I probably do have it somewhere, but I’m in the mood to make a tutorial and so I’m going to show you! Alright, first open your png/make a png - have the background transparent and everything on the image flattened to just one layer. So, say you have those lines around it, if you want the gradient/psd to go on that as well, flatten it to the image. This is just a random png I have cause I decided the other day I just wanted to make a ton of pngs -
Then, open up/make your psd/gradient and put it on the png -
Then, with your gradient layer selected, right click and create clipping mask. Now, the gradient should only be on the png - and the background transparent -
Then, you know, save as a png and upload it and it should be good to go -
Do you know a tutorial on how to use gifs in polaroid textures?
First, grab your gif and polaroid and open them both up in photoshop. (If you need a polaroid png, just google polaroid png and go to images. There’s tons. You have to save them instead of copy and paste, though - otherwise they’ll come up with a black background.)
Now, to make it all easier on you, put all your gif layers in a group (Select > All Layers then Layer > Group Layers).
Then, to make it even more easier - you don’t have to do this (you could just go and paste the polaroid onto the gif itself and then adjust it there, but who cares) - go to that little arrow on your Animation Bar on your gif and click it and Copy Frames.
Make a new layer, File > New - and make it any size you want, I did it 500x500 so it’d be big enough, you can always crop it later. And then paste the frames onto that layer by going to the same menu in the step before and click Paste Frames.
Now, all that’s left is to drag your polaroid png onto the file where the gif is and adjust it to where the gif is inside the polaroid. (To drag the polaroid onto the gif, put the window the polaroid is in on top of the gif layer like I have it in the first screenshot and have the layer of the polaroid selected and click and hold and drag it. If that makes any sense.)
Oh and crop and edit your polaroid gif however you wish, then save and you’re done!
