I tutor a 5th grade boy in math. I do not do this for the money -I have a full time job that pays enough for my life to be comfortable- but because I am good friends with his parents and I knew how to do what they did not. There is occasionally a reading tutor over to Help the younger kids while a am there, and she makes up pointless extra activities to fill up the hour she is being paid for. Today I finished working with A. on math after 20 min, so I left. He did a good job and making children do extra homework will only discourage then from homework in general, in my opinion. Anyways, I think the reading tutor ratted me out probably thinking I would ask for full pay, because A's dad called me to make sure all of the work… There is no real moral to this story. I'm just feeling guilty now, which I shouldn't because we did enough… Wanted to get it out I guess
