This is a really nice twist on the standard villain motive rant; she doesn’t know why she’s doing what she’s doing, and Ahiru has to wind it out. I was being flippant when I called it dance therapy but there’s definitely a strong aspect of helping these people interrogate their own motives.

Ahiru is so gentle with her and it’s making me emotional.

Also I could probably wind a whole pretentious paragraph out of it if I chose to but I’m just going to point out that her fear at the thought of her loneliness leaving her alone is... relatable. But you do have to let go.
