I’m the anon who talked about not knowing what episode I’d personally pick as her Emmy episode because I thought her performance was incredible throughout and I feel like a #fake fan because I literally forgot about episode 6 with the church scene and the burning bush😭tbh I feel like 3 would be the only episode I wouldn’t consider mainly because she’s barely in it.

Yeah, as I said in the other post her strong moments are sprinkled throughout the season except for the wedding episode where she had very little to do. I did like the church scene and the call with her mom but they really should have shown us both sides of it. But at least Rue ended things on a somewhat good note with her mom. And she was so happy about the fucking burning tree lol. They played in her face.

I'm not 100% sure how it works but I think if she is nominated they make public which episode was submitted.

Something that’s been irking recently when analyzing the last season is that line at the end of season 2 when Fez’s house is raided, Faye says Laurie is to blame for Mouses’ death but I guess the police just wrote it off???? (Or the line was forgotten.) It’d be weird to have Faye live in the house, be in a romantic relationship with Wayne, be a drug mule, and make the drugs if they knew she tried to set them up. But it’s also weird to not bring back Laurie for the rest season 2 after Stand Still Like the Hummingbird after she called Rue by her government name & threatened to sell her. (Which led me to seeing the most bizarre take of “Rue never tried to pay off Laurie” when she did in the fifth episode by robbing the house????)

Laurie split town afterwards and Fez took the blame for Ashtray killing Mouse. Laurie and her goons never found out that Faye tried to implicate her on that tape.

Tbf, Rue was trying to scrape together just enough to cover her bases with Laurie because she was going through withdrawal.

But I wouldn't bother too much with plot points from previous seasons, Sam forgot about them too in the third and very little except Rue's debt mattered to what happened.

And then, of course, we have @nyyght's Ruehyllia Duskgazer who is Dominic's daughter. He partied a little too hard back in the day and had a child he was unaware of for the longest time.
