Hi! I'm currently playing through Earthbound again after a long while and honestly one of the reasons I wanted to is so that I could remember everything when I re-read your TUWDWY fic. It's been years and I still think about it. Gosh what a work of art. Your takes are fantastic. I know you probably won't finish it but I'll still read all of what you have so far. Thanks for the great content! I love your art as well! You'll probably hear from me again when I get around to reading the fic :)

My goodness I am so sorry for the late response to this.  I’ve been wanting to reply for like a good week and a half but life;;

It still means so much to me whenever anyone reads TUWDWY, that catalog of text will always be a personal baby of mine.  And even if I never finish it (it’s unfortunately looking like that again currently) I couldn’t take back the hours I put into it.  It’s harder for me to put things into words these days but thank you so much for enjoying it <3  I know the response to that fic is the reason why it’s as long as it is!  

And thank you for liking my art too!  Just... thank you /hugs

So confession time...

I'm picking up TUWDWY again... at least for now. I'm trying... I was gonna wait and say something after I've posted something. But chapter 29 is almost finished. Minus the editing... I might hold off on posting it just so I can start a buffer though. I'd like to have at least 2 done but we'll see... some interesting stuff happens in 29 but like I said way before, it was a grind to get through. Most people on here probably wouldn't know what I'm even talking about but hey. Maybe some on here do? :,D I've been training for an awesome new job so I've been busy- but I start on a part time schedule next week so that will be nice 👍 I think I might post it on ao3 eventually but I'd ideally like to revise a few more early chapters. I know it's been like what, 6 years now? @-@ sorry for the wait;;

Okay, sorry for just liking all of the earthbound stuff from your blog but AAAA, I swear I've been following you for years now and I never realized you liked Earthbound too?!?!? And when I was scrolling through your eb art I also realized that *I think I followed you on here before I even had a Tumblr account????* like jkshgfasg I REMEMBER YOUR ART. (I must've seen it in like 2015-17) I'm just currently like aaaaaa, thank you for making it, I still love it (seeing my boy Pokey also just made me so super stoked) and I'm probably gonna check out your fic at some point too sdkjfh- (This just made me very happy ':D)

Oh my goodness thank you so much anon! I actually consider Earthbound to be my home fandom! (It should be pokemon but that's going way too far back lol)

also LOL if you're interested in the fic- it's called The Universe Will Die Without You! (It's currently only on ff.net) it's... quite the mammoth fsdlkfjklj I've had some requests over the years to transfer it onto Ao3 and I just might do it now since it's rumored that ff.net might go poof one of these days.

Science idea: Repost the fic, keep it problematic, backdate it, add an author's note in bold all caps size 20 font letting people know it's original posting date and that you think it's problematic now that you're X age instead of Y age or something, add more detailed notes about problematic content on the bottom note thing.

You can't go back every ten years to re-edit things, right? Surely all creations are kinda iffy once enough time has passed but, for history reasons, isn't it cooler for it to remain as-is, as a testament to it being a product of it's time? Didn't anon love it, problematic or not?

LOL I think I'd realistically do this. Tell you all what- I'm working on it. Don't know when it will be actually up- but I've already saved the files from ff.net. Ao3 is a slightly different beast that I'm not 100% sure to handle- I've posted one thing on there. Slapping on a gigantic authors note so people can kinda know what they might be in for pff

To be honest, this fics been on my mind a bit this year. I don't want to tease a new chapter quite yet. But I have bee thinking of it and have been in a writing mood at times :)

i know it's been more than over a decade at this point, but i saw that fanfiction.net might be in trouble or shutting down, and couldn't help but think of your old earthbound fic from there. that was one of the first pieces of writing i really admired as a kid (i'm 24 now.) you deserve to be able to make a backup of your work if you want, so i'm sending this just in case

Aww thank you so much anon! I’d post it on a03 but I’d have to tweak some stuff (to make some parts slightly less problematic;;) I hope it can stay up but if ff.net goes down I’ll see what I can do! I have backups thankfully and I could quickly just grab more backups just in case!
