I think part of what makes Farscape's characters and relationships so compelling is how unafraid the cast is to show physical intimacy. Everyone is getting in everybody's space. There are shoulder nudges, folk lean towards each other when speaking, grab and touch each other's faces, they clap each other on the back, they throw things at each other over meals, and steal from each other's plates, they hold each other when they cry, it's constant and easy and natural.

And it's not just the human actors, they share these interactions with the Muppets too

I know some other old shows have this kind of thing but I can't think of any more modern ones that have anything close to the same degree happening All The Time even just among the main cast during big moments nevermind in the background with minor characters while other things happen. They all just kinda stand on or sit across from one another and 70% of the intimacy is made by how the shots are cut together and the music (perhaps higher than 70% since COVID).
