NAME: Abril “Abi” Batista-Brady
AGE: 35
PRONOUNS: She/Her
TIME LIVING IN TONOPAH: Native
OCCUPATION: Police Detective
GANG AFFILIATION: N/A
NEIGHBORHOOD: Downtown
FACE CLAIM: Aubrey Plaza
ABOUT
Abi’s father, Jimmy Batista, was a hot-shot police detective in his time. He was killed in the line of duty and Abi swore to follow in his footsteps. The Batista name remains well-respected for good reason, and Abi does everything she can to live up to it.
She had a violent outburst in the police academy during training, wounding a peer and getting her placed into mandatory anger management. She’s taken a liking to therapy despite initial reservations, and continues to attend a weekly session to this day.
She’s after a promotion from police detective to gang unit, in the hopes that she can be given more cases directly tied to Los Santos & The Sons. For now, she’s often put on petty crimes and does all the digging she can to make it stick to one of the gangs. Sure, it's monotonous and draining, but if the small stuff can be linked to the big bads in town, that’s a start to taking them down.
Her methods are becoming more unorthodox as she falls deeper into her obsession with her job, and though she started at just toeing the line of professionalism, she’s begun to cross it more and more often in the pursuit of justice.
She keeps people at arms length (or farther) as best she can, convinced that surface-level interactions are the best defense against biases and distractions. She can be friendly, but there's not many people she would truly call a friend.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
COWORKERS: The more the merrier! She might not be all sunshine and rainbows, but her coworkers are typically people she likes, at least a little, just on principle.
POLICE ACADEMY COLLEAGUE: Either the very person Abi physically assaulted, or someone who attended while she was there.
And you make jokes because you’re afraid to take anything seriously. Because if you take things seriously, they matter.
BASICS:-
Name: Sullivan Decker
Age: 35
Birthday: 15th April 1989
Gender & Pronouns: cis man, he/him
Time in Tonopah Valley: 35 years
Occupation: at Decker Ranch
Gang Affiliation: Hellraisers MC
Neighbourhood: Glenn Estates
The youngest of the Decker children, Sully took his role as the little brother seriously. He made it his mission his siblings happy over success and loved being the family comedian.
With the Decker patriarch being a strict, cold man Sully chose to reject being like him, even if it meant he wouldn't live up to Joseph's exacting standards.
He didn't inherit his parents' ambition but instead just felt confident life would work out. Was never quite as oblivious to his family's struggles as he played at but he generally chose to push them from his mind and live in the moment.
In school, he barely maintained grades as he'd much rather play class clown. His only motivation was to keep them just high enough so that he could keep playing football.
Kinda surprised everyone by deciding to go to college, mainly to keep playing football, but his plans were derailed by a serious horse-riding accident the summer between high school and college.
Although he recovered physically from the accident, it left him with chronic pain. Sully has done his best to hide this from everyone, including his family, with his carefree attitude.
The next decade was a blur of working on the ranch and seeking thrills, until his mother’s death prompted him to take life more seriously. It put is own reliance on alcohol to numb his pain into a harsher light, though he has yet to really scale back the habit.
He's been increasingly seeking more responsibility in recent years. Although he doesn't exactly want to be his father, he does want to succeed him in running the ranch
I coped by retreating and maybe I did become a mirror, a polished surface that shows nothing of what lies beneath.
BASICS:-
Name: Ava Jane Best
Age: 35
Birthday: 28th June 1989
Gender & Pronouns: cis woman, she/her
Time in Tonopah Valley: native but moved away for college at 18, only recently returned
Occupation: lawyer at Decker & Associates, specialises in family law
Gang Affiliation: technically neutral but leans strongly towards the Sons
Neighborhood: Glenn Estates
FAMILY:-
Father: Leon Best
Mother: Grace Best nee Boone (deceased)
Siblings: three, two older + one younger (v much wanted!!)
Extended family: Cormoran Boone (maternal cousin), Tamsin Boone (maternal aunt, estranged)
Grew up in Webster Village as the second youngest of four. Her dad was a member of the Hellraisers so she grew up in the club.
Ava grew up in a busy, loving family environment, excelling in school with her family's support and aiming for pre-law.
Ava moved to New York for college, securing an internship where she met Richard Mitchell, a partner who became her mentor and boyfriend.
Their relationship started blissfully but eventually became controlling and isolating, with Richard influencing all aspects of Ava's life.
Trips home became few and far between, initially because of the schedule that Richard kept so busy but also due to an increasing reluctance to let the people she'd grown up with see just what kind of relationship she'd gotten herself into.
But despite her increasing unhappiness leading her towards depression, she didn't know how to leave when it seemed her now successful career could all be attributed to her partner.
Returned to Tonopah two and a half years ago after finding out that her mother was ill, taking a sabbatical and staying for six months until her mother's death. The time spent during her mother's illness brought her back to reality, renewing her confidence and leading to her decision to leave Richard.
The breakup was messy despite the presence of her cousin. Richard's parting gift to her a barrage of words that stoked Ava's self doubt to an all time high. Unwilling to move home before she felt like she had her life together again, she instead found a firm in San Francisco for a fresh start.
After two years there and working through some of her demons, Ava decided to return home, taking a job at Decker & Co. and planning to do more pro bono work for women in need.
Not long after returning home her father told her about his true motivation for wanting her to move back - an illness that would slowly claim his life. Now she's determined to not only make up for lost time but make the most of whatever time they have left.
CONNECTIONS:-
Best friends: there's very few people Ava kept in proper contact with during her time in New York but these people are some of the exceptions. Even then she would have tried to keep the truth from them as much as possible, though it's likely since leaving Richard she's started to open up again. She values them highly and will be fiercely loyal.
Close friend: someone who didn't see her absence and pulling away as an issue, instead just a fact of growing up and moving on. The friendship is maybe more casual, without many facts exchanged but Ava's grateful for there being no hard feelings over her failures as a friend over the years.
Close once upon a time: maybe they grew up next to each other or were close in high school or they also had ties to the Sons, either way very much in each other's social circle but their friendship drifted after Ava moved away. Whether it was just down to her or on both sides can be plotted as well as how they feel about each other now.
Ex-friend: whether they saw Ava pulling away as some sort of personal betrayal or made too pointed a remark about Ava's relationship or another reason entirely, an argument between them left a rift that was uncrossable. Once inseparable they're now almost strangers - could go a variety of ways now she's back in town!
Puppy love: whether it was requited crushes or each other's first kiss they had a sweet little dynamic before they were old enough for it to mean anything serious.
Neighbours: either people she might have grown up around in Webster Village or people she lives near now she's in Glenn Estates.
High school sweetheart: head over heels for each other but it likely ended with them both of just Ava going off to college but no matter the ending she'll probably refer to them as her favourite ex (not that there's much competition there rip)
Friends with benefits: since she's convinced herself she's not looking for anything serious at the moment just something loose and chill with someone she's got a decent friendship with and feels comfortable around.
Bad timing: there's an undeniable connection between them and maybe always had been but things never seemed to quite align for them and there's a lingering sense of 'what if' between them.

AFFILIATION: N/A
TIME IN TV: 32 Years
GENDER: Cis Woman
PRONOUNS: She/Her

ETHNICITY: Chinese-Taiwanese and White
NEIGHBORDHOOD: Formerly Springate Crossing, currently Webster Village
BIRTH PLACE: Tonopah Valley, NV
HOMETOWN: Tonopah Valley, NV
SOCIAL CLASS: lower class
EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelors in Early Childhood Education
A B O U T:
Born and raised in Tonopah, Rosalie was always aware of the grey that the town resided in. And from a young age, she knew her family resided in it too. They might not be involved quite so directly as others, but she knew they definitely skirted around the organizations that loomed around the town, picking up scraps where they could.
Her parents pushed their three children hard, but Rosalie could never tell if it was out of a desire to see their children do better than they had, or if they hoped their children would be their ticket out of their circumstances. Her eldest siblings practically graduated high school and never looked back, both of them going on to good schools and successful careers.
Rosalie's father left her freshman year of high school and her mother's overbearing tendencies only became worse. They came to a head when she learned that Rosalie had decided to go to a state school to become a teacher. Her mother didn't speak to her for almost 3 years. And when she broke that silence it came with the weighty diagnoses of cancer.
The next decade of Rosalie's life was a tangled mess of finishing school, taking care of her mother, moving home, getting a job and bills, endless bills. The cancer would go into remission just to reappear, never giving them time to breathe.
Her mother passed 7 months ago, and between all the semantics that came with that, her job, having to sell the house, and again, the endless bills, Rosalie hasn't even had time to process the grief and extremely complicated feelings she held for her mother.
To at least take one thing off her plate, Rosalie made the not so smart decision to borrow money from some not so official places. And she's working her ass off nannying after school to try and make ends meet.
W A N T E D C O N N E C T I O N S:
Rosalie nannies after school and on weekends to try and make ends meet, so if you got a parent who needs some help, Ros is ya girl!
Someone she borrowed money from. If ya got someone in a organization and you think they'd be pulling some loan-sharky side hustle, hit a bitch up.
Considering she grew up in TV, i'm looking for any and all past connections, friends from school, former high school sweethearts (purely platonic now), people she didn't get along with, old neighbors from Springate Crossings, etc!
There's something in your throat that wants to get out and you won't let it.
Basics:-
Name: Stefanos Dimopoulos
Age: 39
Birthday: 4th May 1985
Gender & Pronouns: cis man, he/him
Time in Tonopah Valley: 31 years
Occupation: Owner of Drive-In Theatre + chef @ Dionysos
Gang Affiliation & Rank: formerly a Capo in Los Santos
Neighborhood: Webster Village
Born in Patras just minutes behind his twin brother. Lost his mother before his first birthday but family rallied around them.
His father remarried and later had his younger sister, Tori.
Moved to Tonopah when he was eight along with the rest of the Dimopoulos family.
Teenage years were mostly uneventful and just before turning sixteen he was let in on the family secrets and their ties to Los Santos
Joined Los Santos ranks as soon as he could at eighteen as well as working at the family restaurant.
His brother was killed in an accident caused by a drunk driver when he was nineteen, forever changing his outlook on life.
He got angry at the world and threw himself into Los Santos, before he realised what course his rage had set him on and so he chose numbness and being aloof instead.
Rose to the rank of Capo and was eventually able to buy the Drive In Theatre which was then used as a way to launder money for Los Santos.
Since his parents and aunt and uncle have decided to return to Greece and without Los Santos in his life he's been left trying to figure out his future but the one certainty is that it will involve his cousin and his sister.
Connections:-
High school friends: whether they have stayed close or drifted since becoming adults, had a falling out or still view each other fondly there's room for loads of variety here.
High school ex: first and most likely only serious relationship before he became distant after the death of his brother.
Best friend: though he'd likely consider his cousin his bestie, there's definitely room for a handful more.
Casual friends: while he doesn't always pull his weight on maintaining closer friendships, his level of contact would probably suit something looser and not as deep. Relaxed meet ups and kind of surface level but friendly enough.
Los Santos connections: Stef took it all very seriously and saw it as a job so there's the potential he viewed most others as colleagues rather than friends but once again open to any and all types of dynamic.
Friction: although he tends to be pretty neutrally apathetic to most people, this connection and he have just never gotten along. Whether just clashing personalities or some kind of deeper rift between them things have never gone smoothly.
Former flings: purely physical and probably not super long lasting but he'd have made that clear so probably not a case of any crossed wires unless they really chose not to pay attention.
Friends of Christos: someone else who was close to his twin, likely a complicated relationship as Stef won't always like being reminded. He likes to dodge his issues and pretend they don't exist.
Neighbours: he currently lives in Webster Village but spends a lot of time in Glen Estates too so just people he knows from running into them a lot.
FULL NAME: Cormoran Thomas Boone
NICKNAME(S): Mo, Boone
BIRTH DATE: JULY 17TH, 1990
AGE: 34
OCCUPATION: Head Ranch Hand at the Decker Ranch
AFFILIATION: President of the Hellraisers MC
TIME IN TV: 34 Years
GENDER: Cis Man
PRONOUNS: He/Him/His
NATIONALITY: American
ETHNICITY: White
NEIGHBORDHOOD: Glenn Estates (in the small foreman's cabin on the Decker Ranch)
BIRTH PLACE: Reno, NV
HOMETOWN: Tonopah Valley, NV
SOCIAL CLASS: wouldn't you like to know, weather man?
EDUCATION LEVEL: High school diploma (barely)
A B O U T:
Cormoran was pretty sure he wasn't wanted in the first place. He jokes that he knew that from a young age because who the fuck names a kid after a Cornish giant? But truthfully, between having a deadbeat dad who hit the road as soon as he found out about Mo's existence, and a mom who wasn't a fan of responsibility? Well, it was pretty obvious. It didn't help that his mom that he was a weird fuckin' kid.
Life was unstable. He didn't always know who'd be in his home or where his next meal was coming from or what mood his mom would be in. Cormoran realized from a young age that his natural silence, while pissed his Mom off, was also a pretty great defense mechanism. It was hard to get in trouble when you were pretending not to exist.
In his teens he got a job at the Decker ranch, at the time, he didn't even give a shit about horses, but he figured the hay loft in the barn would be a great place to crash if he needed it. Funny how to think a choice based on survival would lead him to the job he'd have almost 20 years later.
It was only at 18 did he finally re-connect with his mom's side of the family, specifically Leon Best, his uncle and the president of the MC at the time. The man had been one of the only people to clock the shit his mom put him through as a kid, and tried to intervene, only to be cut off entirely. The chance reconnection led to Mo prospecting for the Hellraisers, mentored by the Uncle he had lost so much time with. Through his 16 years with the Hellraisers, he held many positions, from prospect to patched member to enforcer, and most recently: President. Leon Best, after years of leading the Hellraisers, stepped down, no longer able to ride. And in a surprise election, Mo was chosen by his brothers and sisters in arms to lead the club in these troubling times.

name: Joanna 'JJ' Jones
age: thirty-two
birthday: january 5, 1992
gender & pronouns: cis-female & she/her
orientation: heterosexual
relationship status: single
hometown: LA, California
neighborhood: Webster Village
occupation: artist aka inventory specialist at pick-a-part
affiliation: The Drifters
Quick Intro: tw: foster homes, abuse, child-usage
JJ's life was far from easy, filled with hardship from the time she was born. While other children played, she had to work for food, learning to steal or beg to survive per her parents' orders. Her older sister taught her and her younger brother these survival skills.
JJ and her siblings were treated as burdens by their parents, who only saw them as paychecks that come through the mail. If they didn't bring anything home, they'd have been 'managed' and that left a lot of hate within her. Love was something JJ knew only because of her siblings.
At fourteen, Joanna ran away from home with her brother, following directions left by her sister. Their plan was to initially stay with their sister, but it was evident that her sister was only able to look after one extra mouth so, Joanna eventually left to make things easier for them.
Until eighteen, Joanna survived by stealing food, wallets, and cars. She avoided going to the government or the foster system because she knew they would be no real help. Either they'd put her in a worse home or try to 'make' something out of her another way.
Meeting Andrés changed her life. He provided a sense of belonging and helped her earn a high school diploma. Because of him JJ discovered her talent in art, particularly in making stolen goods look new, becoming the first artist in the Drifters.
She travelled with the Drifters ever since, helping him grow the business and doing everything she could do grow it and make it better.
Eventually, she decided not to bring her siblings into it because she didn't want to disrupt their lives. Besides, she was happy with the life she had and didn't want anyone else saying anything otherwise.
Now, in Tonopah, JJ is playing the part of a newcomer while helping operate and grow the Drifters.
