Favorite TV of 2013 - #6 Orange Is the New Black
Between House of Cards and Arrested Development, OITNB seemed a little bit like the afterthought to Netflix's new foray into original programming, but it doesn't take you very many episodes to realize this is easily much better than either of those other two heavily hyped shows. Hilariously funny and completely original, this was the most fun I had binge-watching anything this year. It's so hard to have such a big cast and just make a few of the characters click, let alone all of them, but almost nobody is wasted, and that is quite a feat. And don't even get me started on how this is a series with an all-women cast. Such an exciting show to have this year on so many fronts!
