When is a #Telecaster not a Telecaster riddle part 2: here's another #G&L #ASAT USA spotted at @tgscan near #Toronto, Canada. G&L calls this very pretty finish "Black Ice", but it looks strangely like a finish I have seen before called #TVBlack on guitars made by @kauerguitars. In fact, my #Kauer #Daylighter #Express has an almost identical finish! I'm not pointing any fingers of shame here. All's I'm saying is maybe G&L should be paying royalties to Kauer for using this finish! A special #guitar for a special day! Here's my @kauerguitars #Daylighter #Express in that distinctive #Kauer #TVBlack finish. The new #Nikon #D750 is so far performing extremely well...this shot was taken in a dim room at ISO 5000, and yet there is almost none of the noise usually associated with high ISO. Later today I be sitting in a dark bar in downtown #Toronto taking shots of my friend's band, and after that I'll be attending Toronto's #NuitBlanche, a gigantic, all night, dusk-to-dawn, outdoor #art #exhibition - so I'll have lots of opportunity to test the #camera at even higher ISO! #guitars #kauerguitars #daylighterexpress #guitarphotography
