the sun shining through the window landed its rays directly on the waking girl’s face. this caused her to groaned in the process of reaching her hand out to turn off her alarm. the slight turn also caused another feeling of discomfort, this time in her lower abdomen. jisun knew automatically what this was. 

mother nature just loved her so much.

it wasn’t every month that jisun got her period due the irregular sleep schedules, stress levels, and diet (although jisun doesn’t really watch her eating habits as closely as she should); it was probably the same with other celebrities. but whenever she did get it, her cramps were insanely painful. it got to the point where moving any part of her body caused more pain than already present. 

whenever jisun had to force herself places because of work, she would take painkillers to help numb the pain. of course it never went away, but jisun was an actress; it was her job to act as if she was okay. gradually the her body got used to it and the dosage increased and increased. she knew it was bad for her body and offsetting more hormones than the daily basis of her job was. she still wanted to hold on to that dream of one day conceiving her own child. 

she decided not to damage her body further and just bear with the pain. it was her off day anyways, but it was also the day she planned to hang out with her older brother. it was rare that the two could match their schedule and have an off day at the same time; of course they had to seize the opportunity. they had planned out their whole day of adventure from point a to point d (mainly because jisun liked to have everything organized out). but the one thing jisun didn’t factor in was that it was going to be her time of the month. 

jisun felt bad to stand her brother up but noah would understand. he always went out of his way for her. she grabbed the phone off her nightstand and sent him a text message.

of course she wasn’t going to tell him about her cramps. he was a guy afterall.

31. Most prized possession?

➮Taehyung’s most prized possession is his red guitar pick. His father got it for him after he passed his audition. It has his name engraved on it, and he believes it gives him extra luck because it has his dad’s blessings, so he keeps it in his wallet with him all the time. 

32. Thoughts on material possessions in general?

➮ It doesn’t matter whether you have money or wealth, because those can’t buy time, happiness, or love. Taehyung doesn’t especially think you need material possessions to be happy, but there can be some that are extra special to you which hold sentimental value. 

33. Concept on home and family? 

➮He thinks that home should be a safe place where someone can return to after a particularly bad or long day, and that it should be somewhat of a sanctuary. It doesn’t necessarily need to be your house - it could even be returning into the arms of the person you love. That’s home to him. 

➮Family should be the people that are always there for you, related by blood or not. They’ll always be there for you no matter what, and that you should be open and trusting towards them. They are the people you love and respect, and they should be the ones that put a smile on your face.

35. What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time? 

➮You’d expect him to spend his free time on something more meaningful - but in fact likes to spend it on playing Mario Kart. 

36. What makes them feel guilty?

➮Being an extrovert, Taehyung almost feels close to everyone the instant he meets them. However, he doesn’t realise that the other probably feels like they’re strangers since they’ve only just met, and tends to joke around with them like close friends, and not realising that they’ve hurt them through the process of doing so. He feels like he needs to be more aware of how others are feeling.

Backpack slung over his shoulder, Taehyung marched into the cafe just beside Diamond Entertainment’s building to stop by for a latte before heading to practice. He didn’t have much schedules until later, so he had attended class eatlier on. He smiled to himself, hitching his backpack higher up as he took his order, thanking the cashier and walking to the collection counter.

Practice was really exhausting yet fun, there was no lie in it. He enjoyed doing what he loved most - dance, and vocal training was enjoyable as well. He liked interacting with his soon-to-be members and getting to know them better, although sometimes he still hung out with the other trainees due to the bond they had forged during training. Thinking back, he clearly remembered one of his trainee friends gushing to him about some guy that seemed to flirt with him from what he had heard. He was looking forward to hearing about it again as it was nice to gossip around, and most of the time, his friends had juicy news anyway. It was entertaining and a break from their training, at least.

Taehyung drummed his fingers against the counter as he waited to be called, quietly observing the people in the cafe with curious eyes. It was going to be a while before he could taste freedom again, and he was planning to savour it as much as possible. Biting down on his lip, he surveyed the cafe before his eye caught sight of that particular trainee friend of his, and he was about to make his way to him to say hi, until a male emerged from behind.

Interest piqued, Taehyung continued to watch them. He couldn’t see the mysterious male as his back was turned towards him, but his build was lanky and tall, and there was no mistaking the air of light flirting hanging around them. They were exchanging small smiles and subtle touches, and Taehyung vaguely wondered if that was the male his friend was talking about. He was just about to turn around after collecting his latte, thinking that he could ask his friend about it later, when the male he was flirting with turned around, and that was when Taehyung almost dropped the cup of coffee he was holding.

2. Do they have any daily rituals?

After waking up, Jinri has to check her phone to essentially send out good morning texts to her loved ones with the occasional selfie. 

She has to brew some coffee or at least smell it to wake up fully every morning before heading out the door. It’s just a habit she’s developed that reminds her of life in New York and early mornings with the triplets waking up to the aroma of their parent’s freshly brewed coffee.

Before sleeping and after getting out of bed, she has to do a couple stretches to get her body relaxed or ready for the day.

19. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

Often times, she gets lost in her thoughts and worries of the day. She worries about Noah just in general (if he’s eating well, if he’s happy, if he’s having any troubles he hasn’t told her) and wonders why they’ve become so distant with each other (even though they meet and talk quite frequently). She thinks about how proud she is to have such a gracious and beautiful sister like Ella and wonders when she’ll ever live up to her.

She worries about if she had done anything today that’ll warrant any negative comments and articles to be written about her.

The ideas of tomorrow’s ‘good morning’ texts and ‘how are you’ texts and what outfit to put on will stir in her mind.

28. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?

Ko Junyeol. Quite obviously. If you were to ask her this question in person, Jinri would probably squint at you as if she didn’t understand why you were asking that. Because she doesn’t. Their friendship is quite pronounced all over her instagram. She doesn’t believe that in any universe Junyeol and her weren’t connected in some way, because they were obviously fated to be best friends.

The only enemy Jinri has is herself. She doesn’t make enemies with other people, even if she doesn’t get along with them (which is nearly impossible unless you made the horrible decision to offend her siblings). The only person that could arise hatred and anger in her is herself and the insecurities that beat her down.

36. What makes them feel guilty?

There’s a thought that Jinri’s never managed to completely put away and that is the thought of wanting to throw away the world and leave where she was at the moment. There are rare days where she feels unsatisfied with the life she was living and wanted to run away (back to her childhood or to another country). She wanted to do other things but that would mean leaving her siblings behind (or them leaving her behind, a thought that terrifies her) and that is the last thing that Jinri wanted to happen.

40. Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?

Inferiority complex. Although it seems that Jinri can be boastful, prideful, and bold about herself and her talents or appearance, she’s very insecure when it comes to her qualities compared to everyone else’s. Her close friends will know she’s not actually arrogant when making such remarks but does it for cheeky fun. Since she’s not one to hide her feelings, her insecurities naturally show themselves on certain days. They don’t know the extent of how deep her insecurities run though.

*⅓ my soul & worlds apart

TODAY, Jinri would be seeing her brother for lunch. It had been a while since she had seen her other third, although the three made sure to see each other within the month otherwise it just didn’t sit right. To Jinri, there was something so unsettling about not seeing her triplet for a long time. It felt like they were insulting the universe since they were born triplets, it was a miracle that the three were connected in such a way. That’s why Jinri always held her siblings in the number one position.

The cold of February was biting as Jinri lowered her mask, pushing the door of the restaurant open. She immediately walked to the seats in the corner where the Baek triplets had made it their usual place. They decided to meet in one of the places they use to go to that reminded them of American food when they first moved to Korea. The owner knew them because they’d been customers ever since they were teens, though Jinri admits she hadn’t gone so much recently because she had to get into her idol body. She was already not on par with the other beauties because she was lean but had too much muscle due to her years of ballet.

Once her eyes settled on the sight of her brother, she took long strides to reach him quicker. She was always eager to see his face every time they met now, strange compared to when she played with him everyday when they were little. It was true that distance made the heart grow fonder.

With both arms enveloping him from the back, she wrapped him in a surprise hug. “Noah!” Bursting in her usual flight of laughter once she opened her mouth.

Once she calmed her giggles down, she took her seat across from him. Jinri gave a satisfied sigh at the sight of her triplet’s face, taking a quick once over at his appearance and deemed him healthy enough.

“Have you been well, Oppa?” Although the question was hardly necessary since she texted him almost every hour, it was reassuring to ask him in person.
