Every year we are bombarded with more and more films, and with so many films being released it only gets more difficult for the viewing audience to determine which ones are worth our time and which aren’t. For things to be even more complicated, 2016 came with an ever increasing number of interesting films. As a big movie lover, Ken Londoner had seen most of this year’s releases, and for this occasion he had narrowed down his choice to the one film he believes shouldn’t be misses by any means. Due to the wide choice, Ken Londoner had to be really strict in his selection and leave out some great films like Pad London, Grimsby, Warcraft, Assassin's Creed, BFG, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Jungle Book, Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles, Finding Dora, Master of Illusion, and Alice in Wonderland. So without further ado, here is his choice for the best films of 2016.

After the disappointment of The Bourne Legacy and their unsuccessful try to continue the Bourne franchise without Jason Bourne, Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass, the film’s directors that were in charge of the second and third sequel were taken off the project. Ken Londoner describes the plot of the new sequel as a “post-Snowden world”, which probably means we should expect a lot of cyber security issues and inventive fighting. Universal studio spared no expense and spent big bucks for the making of this film. With that being said, they were even able to bring back director Paul Greengrass, who agreed to make Bourne 5, only if Matt Damon would also return. Fortunately both of them decided to come back for one last sequel. From what Ken Londoner knows, the new Jason Bourne film is very much focused on contemporary issues, and in addition to the film’s main star Mat Damon, the Jason Bourne film also includes a list of big Hollywood names such as Julia Stiles, Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander and Vincent Cassel. This is the Bourne movie that Ken Londoner has been waiting for a long time, and finally it is here.
