I’ll go more into detail on what it is afterwards, I just want to get a sense of if you guys would be okay with big changes.

In light of recent events, I’d just like to take a minute to formally apologize to you all. Things got way heated and it was totally unprofessional, I didn’t want that. Hopefully though, if you have read what I said, you’ll see the reasons I got a little crabby. I adore this rp, as I’m sure you all do. The thing is, we’ve been open so long, it’s hard to think of original plots, or muster up muse all the time, I totally understand that. But the main things dragging this rp down currently is:

the length of time it takes people to reply

constant hiatuses 

not rping much with the people outside of the ones you’re most comfortable with

So, that being said - I’m willing to work on this if you guys are. A few weeks/maybe months ago now, I dropped 4 characters that I loved because my activity was laggy. I’m not suggesting anyone drops there characters, I’m just encouraging you all to have a positive attitude, don’t be scared to try new things with new characters. For me, when I do all my replies at once, it’s easier for me to keep up because I don’t log on and think ‘oh no, look at all this stuff i have to do’ .. I try now to keep on top of it. I’d love to have threads and plots with all of you, don’t ever be shy to come to me. 

We’re a family here - I’d like us all to remember that, this is about fun, escaping our lives - it shouldn’t be a drag, and if it is, ask yourself why. Can anyone do anything to change that? The admins need you guys to help us in order for us to help you, it can’t work any other way. Sometimes we don’t notice the things you do, sometimes we make decisions you don’t like, so tell us. That’s totally okay. This must be the millionth time now that I’ve told you all I don’t care if you come to me full of abuse as long is it’s privately and with the intention of getting some help with your issues. I wouldn’t bite, I’d appreciate your honesty - what I don’t stand for is OOC drama for everyone to see, it’s upsetting and off putting for members. 

Thanks for reading, I hope we can all pull together and get the happy feeling bad for this rp. And remember, if you ever have any ideas for the rp, from events to a batch of characters, anything at all... You can tell us!

After giving it a lot of thought, the admins have listened, and have decided to SLIGHTLY allow members to take a 6th character. Here are the rules; The official character limit will remain at 5. However; if a member REALLY wants a 6th, they must message us BEFORE writing an app. If you write an app before messaging us first, you wont be accepted. Simple, don’t do it. You MUST have good activity because we will be very strict with on time activity warnings. You must wait two weeks after taking a 5th character before you can apply for a 6th. In your message, please state why you want that character and why you think you can handle it. Members must not be on frequent hiatuses or activity warnings. If accepted, you must evenly be on all characters you have or we will have to unfollow the character you’re neglecting. 

Also for a character in general, if you are not yet over the limit and you just took someone, then want to take another character you’ll have to wait a full two weeks till applying for a new one. Same goes for when you've dropped someone and want to take up a new one. This all goes in effect after today. Hope this makes sense and works out for us all.
