Heavy lids overtook his sight of the board and the professor who stood lecturing in front of it. He knew grad school would be a next level up from undergraduate school in terms of work, yet he refused to let sleep get in his way of making some extra cash. Late nights were often spent gambling, either in person or behind a screen. The platform didn’t matter. The rush, however, that’s what always sunk its teeth into him, willing him to stay awake just a little while longer. It seemed the later he stayed up, the more risky players like himself came around. Unfortunately, that left him all too tempted to fall asleep in his art history class. It was disrespectful, and he knew it. Sleep pulled him under regardless, lulling Andrew into a dreamworld far away from the classroom, filled with more stimulating experiences than those taking place around him. He soon woke, finding his previous wall of students he often hid behind were now gone. “Fuck..,” he mumbled to himself, the professor still in the room and his presence obviously not having gone unnoticed. Tousled blonde locks were pushed back by a lazy hand as he sat up straight, attempting to casually push the notepad he never wrote in and books he rarely opened into the backpack resting beside the expensive sneakers he wore so proudly. There had been a plethora of rumors floating around about the cold woman before him, all of which he never placed much faith into. Gossip was rarely interesting to him unless it pertained to his second job. He only hoped what she had to say about his behavior wasn’t something that would instill some truth to what he had heard. God forbid he needed to go to her office. Then again... What a gamble that would be.

SIX-WORD SENTENCES. STATUS: ACCEPTING!
breathing in heavily, kiha exhales a whole string of words. “god, i love that sentence.” it’s one of the few things besides a few select things like.. pottery, classical music, blood, and dead bodies that gets his heart really pumping. it’s so deliciously wicked-sounding. people who say it make him feel like they wanna be dangerous, play some evil games, and while kiha’s not one for company, he is one for havoc. along with tricking people to join him and then having the satisfaction of bashing their brains in later on, effectively saving his dirty little secret! the male can’t say his curiosity isn’t piqued right now. he needs to know. “what do you intend on doing about it?” he asks, genuine, head tilted and everything, biting his lip as he stares at the older woman from across the table. a quaint little lunch date. even killers enjoy those.

Vartouhi glanced down briefly as she started to close in on her destination, and did a double-take at the figure she spotted down below. She was so shocked to see someone this far out in the middle of nowhere that all that registered in her mind was the need to stop lest she be seen flying in the air, which made for a very abrupt, clumsy halt. The princess slowly lowered into the trees of Mount Acha--the place where she’d crash-landed so many years ago. She squinted at the figure--a woman, she could tell now--and tried to figure out what she was doing in the meadow just beyond where Vartouhi was hiding.
The alien slowly, carefully, wove her way through the branches to come around to the side of the clearing. Her neck craned forward slightly as she came to a stop again, still trying to decipher what a random woman was doing out here at dusk. Her face was tipped towards the sky as she just stood there, still. Finally, Vartouhi looked up, too.
The princess blinked up at the stars beginning to dot the darkening sky, and then turned her gaze back to the woman. Her brows furrowed slightly, wondering if she should be suspicious, or if she was just too paranoid. Slowly, she slid down to the ground, keeping herself carefully tucked behind the trunk of the tree. Once she landed, she let the unearthly light flicker out of her eyes as she put her powers to rest.
“It’s lovely out here, isn’t it?” she called.

❝I’m so sorry!❞
He mentioned, dipping his head into a bow towards the other. It was his fault that he’d run into her on his way to see his good friend, Doyoung, but haven’t had to notice that she was right in front of him. ❝I didn’t mean to knock your files out of your hand, I’m just... blind.❞ Jae said, bending down to grab the files he’d knocked out of her hand. ❝I’m so so sorry.❞
