*pained laughter* i had days where i had to go from 7:45am to 4:30pm

And no breaks after like... 11am. No b r e a k s. Not even 5 minutes to eat or drink, or change classrooms.

It was the worst.

WHAT?! my high school and primary school had slightly different “period” setups and i have no memory of how it worked in primary school other than the middle of the day was the longest bit, and we had morning tea (“little lunch” and about 15 minutes i think) and lunch (“big lunch” which i think was 30minutes?) the latter being when we could use the playground

but in high school, at mine we had 4 periods, each 70 minutes (9-10:10, 10:15-11:25). first and second period were one after another, then we had a 30 minute lunch (it was 35 minutes when i started in grade 8, but they dropped it when i was in grade 10), then third period (11:25-11:55), then a 45 minute break. then it was fourth period (11:50) which ends at 3pm which is home time. the 5 minutes between first and second period were walking to the classroom (which is in another building)

i feel like it’s changed again since i graduated because i’m using my little brother’s timetable as reference and it feels slightly off. but that’s what my old high school does now

in high school technically it started in form class at 8:50am (homeroom???) and if you missed that then you’d have to sign in late at the office. but 10 minutes is nothing

but regardless of the school and ignoring form class in high school, school is 9am to 3pm monday to friday. we also get a two week break between terms, and a four week between semester 1 and 2

So quick question about technoblade. From everything i've seen so far, i feel that hes a dramatic theater kid who got lost in arson, but if u ask him "hey i get bullied can u beat them up"; he only listens to the second part and is like " y e s" . Now am i right about that

Whats neopets? I'm not american so it wasnt in my childhood

its like. a browser-based virtual pet site! you take care of a littol creecher and do things like feed and play with them, and there’s a whole globe of areas and shops to explore.

i’ve heard it compared to things like flightrising or furvilla? its a bit overwhelming and honestly super outdated and difficult to get used to if you didn’t grow up with it. it’s also super obvious that neopets is a product of its time, since most things run on flash and all the images are super compressed jpegs. 

but it’s been good for me since i don’t have much of a schedule anymore and there’s lots of little daily things to do that gives me that little bit of structure I need to stay motivated (i’m taking a break from classes since distance-learning and all online classes are a no-go for me, so having something to do daily is a very simple alternative)

plus neopets was a big inspiration for me when i was younger, and all the art on the site is a part of why I worked to become a digital artist, so it’s nice to revisit it every once and again and remember my roots
