𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐄'𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 wine than necessary for a celebration. though it only seemed to fuel her feelings about the entire event. in the face of the crowd , the queen was just & kind with an affectionate smile that crinkled her eyes. but her shoulders sagged with exhaustion as she sat lonesome in their shared bedchambers. her eyes glassy from the amount she'd indulged though not nearly enough to be labeled drunk.
the entering of her husband draws her attention to him , there's eagerness that flourishes through her flushed complexion. ❛ i feel as if i've hardly seen you at all today , ❜ though that was another one of her lies. her eyes trailed after him often throughout the duration of the event , only to be disappointed at the company he held. ❛ you seemed to have enjoyed the festivities. ❜ wine made her ever the more bold.
